County Board of Supervisor Endorsement
Over the course of the last week, the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce has interviewed candidates for local, county, state, and congressional elections. The goal of the candidate endorsement process is to question all candidates in selected races and choose the candidate who best reflects the business values and polices of the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce. The endorsement panel was comprised of local business owners, prominent company representatives, Chamber board members, and members of the Government Relation’s Committee who discussed and scored candidates accordingly.
For County Board of Supervisors, our panel interviewed Rhodesia Ransom and Robert Rickman, who both are currently on the Tracy City Council. Robert is the currently Mayor of Tracy and won the Lodi Chamber’s Endorsement. His ideas on tax improvement for cities in San Joaquin County are innovative and needed, as well as his ideas on managing our way out of the homelessness crisis we see today. Ms. Ransom scored well with our panel. She was very well-informed articulate in her presentation; it's also evident she is passionate about making change happen for her city. We appreciated her taking the time to speak with us.
