Lodi Chamber of Commerce Announces President & Chief Executive Officer Pat Patrick’s Retirement

Chamber Launches the Search for Future Leader

June 6, 2022, Lodi, Calif. – The Lodi Chamber of Commerce, a local member-focused organization that is a catalyst for business growth, convener of leaders for positive change and a champion for Lodi, today announced that its current president and chief executive officer, Pat Patrick, will retire from his post at the end of 2022.

Patrick began leading the Lodi Chamber in 2001 and has guided and grown its membership approximately 80 percent to the highly successful 850-member organization that it is today.

Patrick’s 21-year leadership role brought numerous successes to the Chamber, including establishing a wine marketing desk in Shanghai, China for the benefit of the Lodi area grape grower and winery community; creation of the highly successful downtown Lodi Wine Stroll in 2002 which now features up to 25 wineries and 25 local downtown merchant hosts that enable consumers to discover and connect with wineries and local businesses; the evolution of the certified Lodi Downtown Farmers Market that  today ranks in the top 10 of 800 Farmers Markets in the state of California; and continued leadership of the very successful Lodi Street Faire.

In addition, Patrick was the visionary behind “Vision 2020”, a multi-pronged effort to engage the Chamber and other community organizations in a broad effort to improve our community in many areas: health, tourism, business development and more.  These efforts have led to many efforts that make Lodi a better place, such as Bike Lodi and the Asset Based Community Development (ABCD) which is focused on helping members of the Heritage District identify assets and manifest ideas to improve neighborhoods. Through this Vision 2020 effort, Patrick’s leadership on Vision 2020 was able complete 38 action initiatives for Lodi.

Patrick’s presence in Lodi is far reaching and he has served as an integral part of the local community on many County and Community boards. He has also shared his expertise as board chair of the Western Association of Chamber Executives. His local participation includes the LOEL Foundation, Salvation Army, Adventist Health Lodi Memorial, Boys Club Hall of Fame, Lodi Rotary, Economic Development Commission of San Joaquin County, member and Elder at First Baptist Church and the Master-Orator of the Lodi Chapter of the Brotherhood of the Knights to the Vine.

The Lodi Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors appreciates and thanks Patrick for his years of dedication and service. “During Pat Patrick’s tenure, he has significantly increased the profile and impact of the Lodi Chamber of Commerce and Pat has been a tireless champion of Lodi’s business community,” said Bob Colarossi, Chairman, Lodi Chamber of Commerce. “Pat is a thoughtful and insightful leader, and the Lodi community is better for his leadership. Pat’s years of leadership paved the way for the future and we look forward to the search for an accomplished new leader for the organization to help take Lodi into the future.”

Patrick reflected on his goals for the future with his family.  Patrick said, “I look forward to playing more golf, am entertaining the idea of pursuing playing the cello, and am looking forward to consulting with other communities to share my Chamber expertise.”
