New Agribusiness Committee Chair Elected

During the January Agribusiness Committee meeting, a new committee chair was elected for 2019. Rebecca Towell has been a member of the AG committee with the Lodi Chamber for 4 years.  As a  long-time resident of Lodi,  she enjoys  serving the agricultural community in many ways, from being a Leader for Alpine-Victor 4H and San Joaquin County 4H, to working with local growers, packers, and shippers as an insurance agent with Pan American Insurance, an Agriculturally based insurance agency.  Rebecca is married to Brian Towell, and they have three daughters, Ella, Amilia, and Charlotte all of whom are involved in 4H as well.  Believing that each person has the ability to bring a positive impact to their community Rebecca looks forward to serving the Lodi Chamber of Commerce and the AG committee and working with the many members who make our chamber great.

The Agribusiness Committee provides ciritcal infomration to agribusiness ownersand growers in the Lodi area. The Agribusiness Committee created and manages Grape Day and Farm Safety Day, and holds these events annually to provide the latest on farming expertise.
