Message from the President & CEO

We are now only days away from Election Day 2020, this year is scary.  The Chamber’s Government Relations Committee tracked these Propositions for weeks, if not months seeing if they’d qualify for the ballot, an even dozen of them have. You can find those proposition positions here. We ask that you read these positions and propositions carefully for the impact they'll not only have on business owners moving forward, but our farmers, wineries, stores, and communities as a whole.

It's also mid-October, which means we are also only three weeks away from a reinvented Mayor's State of the City address. In year's past, we would hold a breakfast out at Woodbridge Country Club and the "who's who" of our town, county, and representatives of the state would be in attendance to hear the progress of our gem of a town. However, this year is a bit different. COVID-19 has made it nearly impossible for events of any kind, and the safety of our community is paramount. We are excited to see San Joaquin County inch its way to the Orange Tier, but even then, we'd rather not risk it. This year, we are hosting a VIRTUAL Mayor's State of the City Address, one you can watch from the comfort of your own home or office. You can click here to register for the event and our staff will send you the link to join in. Don't miss hearing from Mayor Doug Kuehne, Lodi Police Chief Sierra Brucia, President of Adventist Health Lodi Memorial Daniel Wolcott, and myself- all talking about the struggles and triumphs of this year. Businesses coming back stronger in 2021 is our motto, and we hope you tune in for this important event.
