Business As Usual...

It is our duty to remind EVERYONE to vote today, if you have not already. It is very important to get the right people in offices of leadership- many of the things that plague business' performance today is a reminder of how we should have voted differently in the past. Exercise your constitutional right and vote your conscience.

When we talk to people about joining the Chamber of Commerce, many times they say "well, I don't have time to come to meetings and events...", whether it is because their small business keeps them busy or they have outside obligations. However, you can derive benefits from your membership without always being present at events! The work of the Chamber is surrounding the entire community- from working in 3rd Grade classrooms to help literacy rates, to convening leaders at San Joaquin Delta College for a tour of their CTE programs, to advocating for your business and interests at a state & local level, the Chamber is continuously working for not just our members, but the Lodi as a whole. If you are a new member, or are a current member looking for a refresher, and want to learn more ways about your benefits and the work the Chamber is doing, we invite you to the New Member Orientation this Thursday at the Woodbridge Golf & Country Club. The event takes place 8-9AM. You'll get to meet your Chamber Staff and network with some of our Lodi Chamber Ambassadors. Thank you to Wells Fargo for your partnership with us.

This week, we will also be meeting with the leadership of the School District at our Partners In Education Committee on Wednesday, March 4 at 11:30 & also with our Government Relations Committee Meeting on Friday at Noon to discover the 2020 Job Killer Bills. Always lots to do in meeting the needs of Lodi's business community.
