COVID-19

During this COVID-19 pandemic, the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce is taking precautions and cancelling or postponing the following events:

  • March 18 - Ambassador Committee Meeting & Young Professionals Trivia Night
  • March 25 – Multi-Cultural Committee meeting
  • March 26 – Young Professionals Speed Networking
  • March 31 – Tools for Success Business Seminar at Revel Lodi
  • April 1 – Partners In Education Committee
  • April 2 – Lodi Chamber Spring Job Fair
  • April 3 – Government Relations Committee Meeting
The health & safety of our members, staff, and community is our number one priority. Beyond monitoring the situation closely, we are actively taking precautions here in the Chamber to continue sanitizing our offices, as well as increasing the frequency, to protect everyone who frequents the Chamber of Commerce.

At this time, we are proceeding as planned for the Lodi Street Faire and the Lodi Certified Farmers Market. We are hopeful that the COVID-19 social distancing and quarantining processes will do what it is supposed to in the coming weeks to eradicate the growth and spread of the coronavirus. In the event we are not allowed to proceed with the Lodi Street Faire on May 3, 2020, we will search diligently for a Sunday in the following weeks to reschedule. In the event we are able to host the event, we will be taking additional precautions to make sure individuals have more access to handwashing or sanitizing stations, as well as other safety measures. Vendors have until April 15, 2020 to cancel and receive a refund (minus the administration fee) on their vendor booth. After April 15, 2020, the only refunds given will be if the Lodi District Chamber of Commerce has to postpone or cancel the Lodi Street Faire due to COVID-19 regulations, and no alternative date for the Street Faire is made.

For the Lodi Certified Farmers Market, we are anticipating starting the season on Thursday, May 14, 2020 as it is outside the suggested dates of social distancing. In the event those dates change, the Lodi Certified Farmers Market will be postponed by a few weeks at best, but the 16-week season will flex to extend into September. Either way, the Lodi Certified Farmers Market will go on. Refunds will be on a case-by-case basis with consideration to farmers whose produce is no longer in season or to vendors who have previous obligations if the Farmers Market extends. Applications for both the Lodi Certified Farmers Market and the Lodi Street Faire are still available at LodiChamber.com. The Lodi District Chamber of Commerce will keep their members and public apprised of any changes that disrupt these events.
