Candlewood Suites Groundbreaking

A note from Kim Family Properties on the construction process of their new hotel:

"Kyu and Beth Kim of Kim Family Properties, residents of the community, are building their 2nd new construction hotel project in Lodi. Originally owing the previous Comfort Inn on Cherokee Lane from 1994 til 2007, their first goal came to fruition with the development and construction of their current Holiday Inn Express in July 2009. At one time owning and managing up to 6 hotels in their portfolio, they had previously developed and constructed an Extended Stay hotel from 2002 - 2007- understanding the Lodi market and knowing the need for an Extended Stay property is finally a dream come true with this project!

Investing in their community, they are happy to state they are working with local contractors Lenzi Construction. Cliff Lenzi also supports the community and utilizes as much as they can from our local resources. The Kim and Lenzi families are excited to begin construction as they signed a letter of intent back in April 2017 and pulled permits in December 2017.

The Candlewood will be the only Extended Stay in Lodi and surrounding areas. Located in the heart of Lodi Wine Country , Candlewood Suites is just east of Hwy 99 on Kettleman Lane, as well as a short drive to over 100 wineries, 40 minutes from Sacramento Airport, and 90 minutes from the San Francisco Airport.
