The class participants meet for a full day eight times during the year. Each day is devoted to a particular
topic:
Dynamics Day
Non-Profit Day
Education Day
Media and Fire Safety Day
Agriculture Day
Government Day
Law and Justice Day
Tourism and Development Day
Health, Arts, and Recreation Day
These meetings occur on the second Tuesday from February through October. Most days include presentations from over a
dozen leaders in our city, and sponsorship is a great way to expose them to your brand.
In addition to these meetings, the class assembles in the Spring for a weekend retreat and again in January for
their graduation ceremony.
Year-long sponsors are recognized on every agenda, at the retreat, and at the graduation ceremony with over 400
leaders in attendance spanning every industry in town as well as our elected officials.
Be Seen by Tomorrow's Leaders
Leadership Lodi, formed in 1990, inspires
and motivates individuals in our community to achieve higher levels of leadership.
Each gradating class has between ten to twenty participants who represent our local employers’ mid- and high-level
management, business owners, political up-and-comers, service club leaders, and government officials.
The year-long program provides participants with an opportunity to learn from current leaders about the complexities
of the city from a variety of angles. Participants spend a full day on topics such as government, education, law,
agribusiness, economic development, and more, as they travel the city and meet with the people who help make the city
tick.
Each year the graduating class creates a project that benefits the community, including fund-raising and manual
labor, to foster their leadership skills and build teamwork.
For a business who wants to be seen by tomorrow’s leaders, sponsoring Leadership Lodi is an excellent investment in
your business an our community.
