School Relations Committee

The School Relations Committee meets the third Tuesday of the month at 7:00am in the Chamber Conference Room.

This Committee’s goals are to improve communication between business and education communities; support, stimulate, and expand internships and apprenticeship programs; plan and conduct, with LUSD and Delta College, a welcome reception for new teachers on an annual basis; collaborate with other chamber groups, businesses and committees on projects that will benefit students and the community at large; study and make recommendations to the Government Relations Committee (GRC) on legislative issues impacting education locally, send out applications, review and award scholarships sponsored by the Chamber and provide assistance for Leadership Lodi Education Day.

If you have an interest in education and how it is affected by local and regional issues or if you are interested in contributing to a group that strives to improve the quality of educational programs for children and adults, consider joining this committee.
